 E Butler is a family-based company based in Essex with a history of residential construction dating back to the 1920s. They have a strong track record of constructing residential estates across the South of England.

R E Butler approached McGregor Structures with the need for a moveable canopy to create an outdoor covered area as part of their on-site facilities. They needed a dry storage area and welfare facilities for onsite staff, most importantly, their structure needed to be easily dismantled and moved to their next construction project.

Clamping to two standard shipping containers, Shield Canopy™ was the perfect fit.

The canopy creates an open covered area for team members to work and shelter, while the two shipping containers create dry secure storage for high value tools and equipment.

Shield Canopy™ combines strength and mobility; robust, portable, Installed in just two days. Supplied on a stillage for dismantling and future redeployment.

As a construction business the self-installation option for Shield Canopy fitted well, the structure is supplied with an easy-to-follow installation manual, guiding the team through every step of the build. In November 2021, R E Butler installed Shield Canopy™ for the first time,

at this first site Shield Canopy™ covered construction materials and provides a staff rest area. In the future, R E Butler plans to reuse the canopy, relocating it to future construction sites.
